My user name on rollyo is catherinef. I created my search roll and named it libraries. I set it up to search the state library of Tasmania, the blogs run by the national library of Australia and my RSS feed to Unshelved. I put these together because I wanted a variety of different sites. The library website, blogs and unshelved comic give me that.
I thought that rollyo was a good idea and a great tool. I would be really useful in a library to have different specific search rolls set up to answer question or research information. However there seems to be some difficulty on the site with actually running the search rolls.

YouTube exercise
For my YouTube video I showed how to take a video from YouTube and post it in a blog. I then posted it on YouTube here is a link to my video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BFclkbPI8g
I really enjoyed using YouTube. I found that i was using it more and more while we are making our blogs. I think that is a great resource. There are so many different videos about anything at all that you are bound to find something that is useful. Using a video would be a good teaching aide to use in the library as it delivers information in a different format in an entertaining way. If you do that people are more likely to remember what it is that you are trying to show or teach them. you can also use videos to help raise awareness about something or just for fun, like some of the videos i've already posted in my blog.
I also looked at TeacherTube. I thought that this was a really good idea because this site is meant specifcally for educational videos. It not only has videos but has audio posts and lists of websites that might have information related to what you are searching for. The only problem with TeacherTube (and why I think that YouTube is better) is that you have to be a member of TeacherTube to access the resources. whereas with YouTube can be viewed by anyone even if they are not a member and take resources
