For our wiki exersice I looked at two of the library wiki's I looked at the book lovers wiki that's run by Princeton public library and the bull run library wiki. I have also gone on to our class wiki and added a link to my blog. I found using wikis interesting in that you could edit and change or add anything.
What I think that a library might find it useful for is maybe discussion pages, thinks like books or activites that people want to see added to the library. You could also have one for staff use to help organise events, meetings, plan activites etc.
Using wikis also made me think about the difference between wiki's and blogs. things such as access and privacy who uses them. I found this video on YouTube which talks about it, done as a debate between Nixon and Kennedy. here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsFU3sAlPx4
